Aalborg Portland

Aalborg Portland
From 2012-2014 Pernille was the lead facilitator in our organization (Aalborg Portland) in the creation and implementation of a strategic oriented leadership development program. She took the top-executives, including the Executive Management Team, through the program, first, then went on to facilitate training and strategic thought provoking exercises with the rest of the management. The goal was to create a strong organizational culture which would help us drive change, innovation and collaboration across Business Units, locations and countries as well as help us make a strategy fit for the future.
For Pernille it was paramount that the Executive Management Team participated in the program, which turned out to be important for the organization. By participating closely, the EMT team was able to answer questions and show their results of applying a different leadership style (the strength based) in order to drive change. From there, true collaboration started and together we created a new, better, more sustainable strategy for the company.
Pernille is an excellent communicator and is able to make a process fit for the participants and the organization. She helped us find "the best in us", and created great results along with a great working-culture.
I have - on top of being a participant in the organizational program - had the pleasure of being in an individual coaching program with Pernille. She has helped me bring my strengths even further into play and use the strengths in the team around me.
What makes Pernille unique is her ability to recognize, and make every individual leader recognize, their own strengths and how these can be brought into play for the common good. She is upfront honest regarding both strengths and weaknesses. By starting with the strengths, it becomes so much easier to acknowledge and "harness" the weaknesses and judge how little or how much they count in different circumstances. She is excellent when it comes to building stronger leadership- and organizational cultures to the benefit of the business and employees.

Cycling Without Age

Cycling Without Age
Pernille joined our board in the spring of 2016 and she has been a wonderful inspiration to our young, ambitious and purpose-driven organization. What she brings to the table is clarity, energy and an ability to spot solutions in wildly unchartered territory - a rare trait. Pernille is the kind of gem, which all boards should be blessed with.

Telia

Telia
Pernille is a charming and interesting speaker, who easily catches the attention of the audience. She casts light on the work of leadership and innovation with a great amount of love and includes examples from her own interesting journey in her talks.
On top of that she introduces many concrete tools and cases in an elegant and inspiring way, so that her talk includes both activity and reflektion.
We booked Pernille to talk about the Future of Leadership to give us a boost and some inspiration on how we can keep on finding inspiration for our own innovation and product development in the future. Pernille fully succeeded with this.

MTHøjgaard

MTHøjgaard
MT Højgaard Design & Engineering engaged Pernille Hippe Brun to lead us through a strategic developmental process with focus on culture and behavior. We named the process “Preferred Partner” to bring light to what we wanted to become.
In the beginning of the process the strengths of the leaders and our strengths as a division were defined based on the principles behind strengths based leadership. This gave us a common platform to act from, and the values and principles have slowly been built into the culture in all of D&E by the leadership team, in order to strengthen a desired culture and behavior.
Our process went on for more than a year, and Pernille handled the process extremely professional all the way through. She brings clarity and sharpens your insights and guide us in the right direction. With her open, direct and positive being she easily “reads through us” and provokes and supports us, based on what is needed in the moment. All the time with a contagious enthusiasm and trustworthy way of acting - from the heart.

LARS BORK HANSEN - Divisionsdirektør, Design & Engineering, MTHøjgaard

Berlingske Media

Berlingske Media
In Berlingske Media we had been through a long transition phase, where we first of all had to think about new ways of thriving and surviving as a news platform of high quality, but also how to lead and organize ourselves in this constant changing environment with new players, competitors and business opportunities. We needed a strategic advisor to help us create and facilitate a leadership- and talent program for our managers and uprising talents, which could provide them with the skills and tools to manage in this reality.
Pernille turned out to be an excellent sparring partner in crafting and running this program. She is intelligent, grounded, likeable and has an outstanding capability to communicate all theory in a simple, relevant and motivating way. Combined with her intelligent way of involving the participants, the participants went back and made remarkable individual and organizational changes.
If you ever need someone helping you with your strategic challenges and/or create and facilitate leadership development programs which will lead to concrete results and a great organizational culture in your company - Pernille might be just who you are looking for. I give her my very best recommendations.

Danish-Chinese Business Forum

Danish-Chinese Business Forum
Danish-Chinese Business Forum (“DCBF”) is an independent, non-profit executive network organization that aims to strengthen commercial ties between Denmark and China on behalf of our members. Although a private initiative the DCBF Board have representatives from the Danish Foreign Ministry, the CEO of the Danish Patent & Trademark Office and is under the Royal Patronage of HRH Crown Prince Frederik. As part of our activities to bring value for our corporate members we hired Pernille as a keynote speaker at an event in Shanghai late 2019 on the important topic; Nordic Leadership in China - The Edge of an Inclusive Leadership Style in a Chinese Context. The event was a great success and I am very pleased to say; attracted a very high number of relevant audiences among our members. Pernille was very instrumental in this success and delivered in this respect a very professional presentation and ensured a very relevant and lively debate at the following panel discussion.

Working intensively with business leaders to make them grow as leaders is not an easy task. They are so different, we all are, and yet you need to meet them where they find themselves: introvert, extrovert, self-confident, insecure or hyper-active…to challenge them to look into the mirror and see what and who they discover. Pernille is excellent at that: Meeting people where they are and bring the best up without forgetting their potential for adding new facets to the benefits for their business.
Pernille became attached to the EMBA program offered by SIMI - Scandinavian International Management School - in 2005.The SIMI team had set itself the goal of challenging business leaders in such a way that they would gain a basis for documenting their personal dev. at the exam table while also documenting the effect on their organizations. Not an easy balance between very personal involvement and somewhat distanced academic criteria and then combined with real business dev. Pernille masters this balance.
After SIMI merged with CBS in 2009, Pernille got involved in building an EMBA program in Nairobi, Kenya, which CBS-SIMI Executive started offering in a JV with first Inoorero University and later Mt Kenya University. Talking about cultural diversity! But Pernille set a framework for learning and personal dev. in which all participants could find a direction and take command of their learning journey. Along side with developing the leaders participating in the EMBA, Pernille and Ian Ratcliffe made a special “train-the-trainer” program for local facilitators and professors, which included personal feedback, instructions, role-modelling and supervision of them running the program. The facilitator team report that the train-the-trainer program has developed them and given them tools for running the leadership part of the EMBA, and that Pernille and Ian has made them grow as facilitators.
We all grow and we all want to grow when we are in the right hands. Pernille has such hands.

Niels Arnfred, Dean at SIMI, later EMBA program consultant Mt. Kenya University

Equip Africa

Equip Africa
I have worked under the tutelage of Pernille as a leadership facilitator for more than 6 years - sometimes it has been easy, and sometimes hard. But with honest(!!) feedback and easy-to-implement strategies, I am now better, more knowledgeable, and ready to serve and facilitate the learning-process for willing participants at our E-MBA program. Pernille has taught me to prod people into reflection and I recognise her as an extremely skilled facilitator, who enables serious learning yet integrates fun into the process. She is precise, methodical but more-so, has a passion for what she does and that's what makes the difference.
